Overview
Leepa Valley is one of the most visually stunning and off-the-beaten-path destinations in the region. Sitting at an altitude of approximately 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level, it offers an authentic blend of breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and traditional Kashmiri village life. The scenery of Hattian Bala, Chanari and Chakotthi is eye catching along with a couple of waterfalls beside the main road. This variety of natural attractions on the edges of Jhelum River from the Muzaffarabd to the LOC at Chakotthi itself is fascinating in addition to the grandeur behind mountains.
